Death’s Angel
The white nightmare.

Death's Angel - [ C-Rank Wanderer ] Anjuandbunny

Have you seen my Bunny..?

Character Name: Anju Elise Deimos
------- Alias or nickname: “Ani”, “Hina”, “Malice”
Zodiac Sign: Snake
Age: Eleven
Gender: Female
Hometown: Kirigakure no Sato
Sexuality: Undecided

Height: 4’5”
Weight: 55 lbs.
Hair: Blonde
Eyes: Blue
Others: She always carries a stuffed bunny.

General Appearance:

Anju has a doll-like face, with a figure to match. She has radiant, light blonde, layered hair that reaches about her shoulders in length. To compliment her locks, she has a fair, almost pale complexion, and usually wears a bow, or other ornament atop her head. Her piercing eyes are a chilling, sea blue, usually blank, and showing no emotion. Such a physical presence fully portrays her innocence. She commonly wears a dress, sometimes a beautiful kimono that compliments her physique. If not formal attired, she dresses casually. Anju doesn’t dress much like a normal ninja, sometimes even refusing to wear her headband unless absolutely necessary, for reasons unknown. When she does decide to equip her village headband, it can either be found tied around her waist, or attached to her holster. Although she passes as a talented kunoichi, she would rather not be considered as a threat. However, she almost always carries her scrolls containing her two puppets, Hakaisha and Hogosha, in an attractive pack worn on her back on certain occasions, or inside her usual holster, which also contains her weapons and other useful items.

Always seen with her, normally in her arms, is a stuffed bunny she received when she was a child. It looks ancient, even stitches from where it was torn in the past can be seen all over. This friend of hers is lightly colored, and has black, beady eyes. She calls it Freya, and can be found whispering to it on occasion. Some people claim that Freya is alive, and have witnessed the stuffed bunny moving. Others correct them, saying that Anju uses her puppetry skills to move Freya. Whether or not the rumors are true are still unknown to anyone, but Anju of course.

Personality:

At first glance, you would think Anju to be a careless young girl, like any other. In this case, her looks are deceiving. Anju is very delicate and fragile, seemingly fearing just about anything that moves. In a way, she is shy, or more so, reserved. She doesn’t speak much, very rarely will she say anything. It’s not that she doesn’t know how to speak, but she chooses not to. People either assume she is mute, or find her rude for this, but it’s something she has done since she was a child. Psychologically, she would be defined as ‘selectively mute’.

Most would say Anju is emotionless, due to the fact she doesn’t show much of an expression the majority of the time. She does feel emotion, just chooses not to show it. Others think that she believes emotion is a weakness, and she doesn’t make it noticeable because of her devastating past. Though, because she seldom talks, no one really knows anything about her. Therefore, defining her personality is difficult for anyone, especially those who don’t know her history.

She is quite demented, yet again, due to her childhood. Unlike most, she doesn’t really fear death nor is she afraid to kill someone else. Watching others suffer has almost no effect on her anymore, in fact, may bring her the slightest of pleasure, unless it’s someone she is particularly close to, of course, which only includes a very selected few. She is normally calm, unless scared. This doesn't mean she can’t have a temper. On occasion, she can be easily angered. Anju is probably most dangerous when she is upset or angered, this is because she doesn’t hesitate to let you know. She can become very violent in this case, believed yet again because of her traumatizing childhood. After her tantrum, she usually cries, strangely enough, and retreats to a vacant place.

Special Characteristics:

Seaming
Anju has taken up the vocation of sewing, so that she may tend to tears and frays of her clothing, or more importantly, her stuffed bunny. She also enjoys embroidering her clothing with lace and other delicacies, due to her love for elegant things.

Mute
Due to physical or psychological infirmity, the character has an inability to speak, though they may have a limited ability to grunt. Providing the character is not a psychological mute, their speech functions may be restored to a limited degree.

Animal Empathy
The character exudes a calming influence on animals. They are seldom bitten or snarled at and animals immediately like them. If they abuse an animal, it will act confused before becoming aggressive.

Light Sleeper
The character is a very light sleeper. Any noise at all will instantly awaken them to a state of full alert. The character is no easier to sneak up on while asleep than they are when they are awake.

Believed Dead
Despite being very much alive, the character is believed to be dead. Perhaps they disappeared outside the walls of the village and was proclaimed devoured by demons or ghouls. They may have feigned their own death at great difficulty and expense. They could have even been the victim of a conspiracy that sought to erase their existence. Whatever the case, the world at large believes the character to be dead.

Puppets

Name: Hakaisha, “The Avenger”
Rank: C
Requirements: Scroll
Specialty: Offense
Description:
Hakaisha is Anju’s first puppet, and the most flexible of her puppets. He stands six feet tall, one foot wide, and is loaded with weapons. Anju has modified her puppets to look extremely realistic, adding some human looking characteristics. He is summoned through a summoning scroll she carries on her back, and can be returned the same way. Hakaisha has many added joints and a lacking defense. The joints make it easier for him to grab or wrap around an opponent. His right palm contains five knives attached like fingers, his left hand loaded with five knives that can be shot through the fingers. Within his mouth are poison coated senbon needles that can be released as well. If the opponent is hit with one of these needles, they gradually start to hallucinate and feel dizzy. This gives Anju the opportunity to make an attack or retreat while her opponent is unstable. Though Hakaisha’s torso is smaller than usual for added flexibility, it is large enough to store weapons, such as makibishi, shuriken, and senbon that he easily take wield of in battle. In the upper part of his torso are slits that when manipulated correctly, can release stored shuriken or senbon. This can be much more effective when used after restraining the opponent. Hakaisha is also equipped with wings, used to glide or increased speed in movement.

Equipped Weapons:
Makibishi
Shuriken
Senbon

Name: Hogosha, “The Defender”
Rank: C
Requirements: Scroll
Specialty: Defense
Description:
Hogosha is Anju’s second puppet, and the largest of her puppets. Standing six feet tall, three feet wide, the reason for his name is obvious. Anju has modified her puppets to look extremely realistic, adding some human looking characteristics. He is summoned through a summoning scroll she carries on her back, and can be returned the same way. Attached to his right arm is a shield made of chakra infused steel and has been thinned down to serve lighter than most metals. His left arm has added joints to make it slightly more flexible, perfect for wrapping around the opponent. Upon his head is a steel helmet of similar material to his shield. Inside his upper chamber, or head, are hidden flash bombs and smoke bombs. When manipulated, he can release these bombs to prepare for a surprise attack or as a distraction for Anju to retreat. His torso has many slits about an inch wide, it is also capable of being opened and trapping the opponent inside. In combination with Anju’s first puppet, knives can be inserted in the slits for an easy and effective attack on anyone who happens to be trapped inside. Hogosha has steel boot-like feet, used to help stand his ground when blocking an attack. Anju can manipulate him to force these steel boots into the ground, making his defense more efficient. He is built sturdier than most puppets, causing him to be less vulnerable to explosives. Like everything, he has his limits. When damaged enough, Anju may have to work to restore him after a battle.

Equipped Weapons:
Wire
Flash Bombs
Smoke Bombs

Techniques

Puppetry

Name: Kugutsu no Jutsu (Puppet Replacement Technique)
Rank: D
Type: Puppetry
Element: -
A variation of Kawarami no Jutsu, instead of switching with an object such as a log, the user is replaced by their nearby puppet allowing them to launch sneak attacks or evade attacks.

Name: Tenkuu Shuurai Shotto (Air Raid Shot)
Rank: D
Type: Puppetry
Element: -
The user manipulates their puppet to either jump, or soar into the air and release a barrage of weapons, or bombs upon the enemy that explode on impact. The type of weapon, or bomb determines what additional effects may affect the opponent.

Name: Kugutsu no Jutsu (Puppetry Technique)
Rank: C
Type: Puppetry
Element: -
This jutsu uses strings of chakra from the user's fingers to control puppets like marionettes. This skill is often prepared in coordination with the Body Replacement Technique so the user can quickly switch places with their puppet when necessary. Another useful quality of this skill is the fact that the puppet can take the form of another person, usually its user, allowing the user to trick their enemy into thinking they're fighting a living person.
Any number of chakra strings can be used to control a puppet, but users with more skill using the technique can use fewer strings per puppet. Expert puppeteers are capable of demonstrating the ability to control entire puppets perfectly using just one string, while most puppeteers would normally be able to control ten puppets at most, one per finger.
Apart from being used to control marionettes, the chakra strings can be attached to other objects, allowing the user to control, or at the very least disrupt, other things. For example, one can use chakra strings to trip someone. Another example would be those with much experience using chakra strings to control another person like a puppet.

Name: Doriru Yomi (Drill of the Underworld)
Rank: C
Type: Puppetry
Element: -
The user manipulates their puppet to either attack the opponent in means to distract them, or release caltrops from its limbs to prevent their escape. They then make the puppet charge, or fly toward the opponent while spinning rapidly, hopefully dealing great damage.

Name: Kurohigi Kiki Ippatsu (Iron Maiden)
Rank: C
Type: Puppetry
Element: -
After creating a distraction, the user maneuvers the puppet behind the victim, which then opens up its chest and fires out chakra controlled strings that wrap around its intended target. It then winds these strings back in to trap the target in its chest. With the victim trapped, scythe like blades appear and reap through each slit in the puppet torso, dealing severe damage.

Supplementary Ninjutsu

Name:
Bikou Ninjutsu (Shadowing Stealth Technique)
Rank:
E
Type:
Supplementary
Element:
-
Bikou Ninjutsu is the technique ninja use
to follow their targets covertly. The manner in which the ninja shadows their target can differ, from the basic hiding under a nearby object, to using a jutsu to turn oneself invisible. The skill and length in which one can stay hidden varies by rank and ability.

Name:
Ayatsuito no Jutsu (String Reeling Technique)
Rank:
E
Type:
Supplementary
Element:
-
Ayatsuito no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing wire.
This string can be used in rappelling, or as a method to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent. The wire also allows fire users to pin down an opponent, and then unleash a torrent of fire upon them.

Name:
Bakuyaku Fusen: Kai (Explosive Tag: Release)

Name:
Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing)
Rank:
D
Type:
Supplementary
Element:
-
Kinobori no Waza,
the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed

Name:
Suimen Hokou no Waza (Act of Water Surface Walking)
Rank:
C
Type:
Supplementary
Element:
-
A variation on the Kinobori no Waza
(Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.

Name:
Kai (Release)
Rank:
C
Type:
Supplementary
Element:
-
A jutsu that dispels,
or cancels out an illusionary jutsu attempted on the user. Only shinobi with strong chakra control can perform this. The user releases a large amount of chakra then quickly halts it. The genjutsu is usually dispelled after that, depending on how strong the skill is.

Name: Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)
Rank:
C
Type:
Supplementary
Element:
-
A powerful jutsu, Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows him to summon different size and skill levels of creature.

Name:
Sougu Tensasai (Tool Manipulation)
Rank:
C
Type:
Supplementary
Element:
-
Sougu Tensasai is a Ninjutsu technique developed to take advantage of the user’s deadly accurate ability to throw edged weapons. After hurling a large scroll over their opponent, they will summon the weapons inside to rain down on them. Because of the large number of weapons, avoiding the assault is difficult.

A very basic technique that allows a ninja to escape from rope binds.

Name:
Kawarimi no Jutsu (Change of Body Stance Technique)
Rank:
E
Type:
Ninjutsu
Element:
-
When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object.
This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise.

Name:
Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
Rank:
E
Type:
Ninjutsu
Element:
-
Allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object.
This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.

Name:
Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)
Rank:
E
Type:
Ninjutsu
Element:
-
Creates a copy of the ninja without substance.
The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the clone gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Name:
Shunshin no Jutsu (Body Flicker Technique)
Rank:
D
Type:
Ninjutsu
Element:
-
The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant,
allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.

Name:
Kage Shuriken no Jutsu (Shadow Shuriken Technique)
Rank:
D
Type:
Ninjutsu
Element:
-
When throwing a shuriken,
the ninja will also throw a second shuriken to hide in the shadow of the first. The hidden secondary shuriken can then approach the target without their being aware.

Elemental Ninjutsu: Water

Name: Samon Hosa no Jutsu (Hearing Aid Technique)
Rank: D
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Water
This jutsu creates small goblets of water that cover the user's ears. The water is shaped into an amplifier and allows the user to track nearby opponents by sound due to the increased accuracy of hearing.

Name: Nuranura Mizu Meiun no Jutsu (Slippery Puddle of Doom Technique)
Rank: D
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Water
This jutsu requires a source of water and the user’s manipulative chakra. A thin layer of the user’s chakra is settled at the top of the puddle, but isn’t visible to the naked eye. Since it’s the user’s chakra, they can walk on top of the water, and possibly fool the opponent that it is normal water in the meantime. As soon as the opponent steps foot on the water, they may lose their balance on the slippery surface, giving the user the advantage to strike the opponent or retreat.

Name: Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hiding Mist Technique)
Rank: D
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Water
This jutsu envelops the surrounding area in a dense mist, reducing visibility within the affected area. The density can be controlled by the user, allowing them to create a mist so thick that even they can't see through it.

Name: Mizu Geinchisoku no Jutsu (Water Acceleration Technique)
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Water
After performing Suimen Hokou no Waza (Act of Water Surface Walking), the user also focuses their chakra into a thin layer onto the surface of the water from their feet. This provides the user a speed gain, as for now they can move more quickly and controlled while walking on water. This gives the user the advantage of speedier attacks, but when hit, may cause the user difficulty in standing their own ground.

Name: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique)
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Water
This jutsu creates one or more identical copies of the user out of water. Like Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Shadow Clone Technique), these clones are capable of attacking and using jutsu, but they are easier to defeat because they are only one-tenth of the user's power. Additionally, they can only be controlled within a certain distance of the user.

Name: Suiro no Jutsu (Water Prison Technique)
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: Water
This jutsu is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. Clones can be used in place of the actual person, provided that the clone is the one that performed the technique. This jutsu can't be performed without a sufficiently large body of water to supply the water for it. Only the Hyuuga have been known to disrupt the flow of chakra inside the prison and break free, with their ability to release chakra from their pressure points. Despite the fact that the prison is made up entirely out of water, and the target is unable to move while within it, the target is still able to breathe.

History:

Genesis

Anju Elise Deimos was born in Kirigakure no Sato, “The Village Hidden in the Mist”. She was said to have the same beautiful eyes, and radiant hair as her mother, Elise. However, the innocent newborn child would never know for herself. Elise died while giving birth to her lovely daughter, the one those came to know as Anju. She hadn’t a chance to see her child, let alone a chance to name her. It was up to the father, Haru, from then on to take care of his daughter on his own. So that she shared the name of her loving mother, he named her Anju Elise. He named her Anju, meaning ‘Angel’, and shared her mother’s name, as her middle name. He wanted her to carry a piece of her mother throughout her life, wherever she went. When he named her Anju, it was in the sense that although her mother was now an ‘angel’, Anju was her lively spirit, her living ‘angel’.

The challenge of raising a child seemed practically impossible for this man, as he struggled to devote his time to both Anju and his clan. This clan he was so dedicated to not only shared blood, but those who had gathered in hopes to form a resistance group in Kirigakure no Sato. Just as the Kaguya and other feared clans in the past, they were being targeted and forced from their homes without direct reason, and eventually resorting to violence. The village accused them of treason, due to their defiance of war, and support for peace between all the countries. They stated the point that if all the countries worked together, there would be no more suffering, and they could all lead simpler lives. The majority of the village shunned them for this, and insisted they were defiling the ninja way. Therefore, to prove their beliefs, they followed their ninja way, and fought for what they believed. And so, while leading this resistance group, Haru struggled to protect his daughter, while still protecting his beliefs. He would need Elise’s help however, she wasn’t physically there. That’s when he sought what tangible things she left behind in order to comfort their fragile child.

She was undeniably attached, as soon as he handed over the gift her mother had prepared for her months before her birth. It was a stuffed bunny - small, soft, and seemingly warm. Anju carried it where ever she went, and if for whatever reason it was out of sight, she would cry until it was returned. And through the years she grew, she never even considered leaving her stuffed bunny behind. It was a memoir of her mother, and even as a small child, that was enough for importance. Despite it couldn’t speak, or eat, or play with her, it was her best friend. All she needed was the security of it wrapped in her arms, and she was content. Her first words were spoken to the inanimate toy, and so formed its name, Freya. Where this came from, no one really knows, but it gave a unique name to the friend of a unique child. As much as Haru was concerned for her health and development, he couldn’t bring himself to simply take the only memory she had of her mother. And so, he didn’t.

Little did he know how much all of this would affect her in the future, for he began to notice her lack of social skills altogether. As she approached the age of three, while most children were anxious for words, she remained quiet, extremely shy. However, she spoke to him without any problems, seemed to have a complete understanding of others when they spoke, and was proven to have no hearing problems. He wasn’t sure exactly how to react to her strong defiance to speaking, and eventually started coaxing her to speak in time. However, it was soon revealed that she only spoke to those she trusted and knew, not to strangers. As years passed, and both his little Anju and resistance group grew, he accepted her quiet nature as a blessing. If ever she would be interrogated to give the enemy information, he wouldn’t have to worry about her telling them anything he didn’t want them to know, and she would be set free safely. Unfortunately, he had no idea how wrong he was, until it actually happened.

Corruption

As she approached the age of five, she was walking like it was nothing, and speaking in complete sentences, whenever she did speak, of course. She had already taken an interest in reading, and began writing on her own. And as her development progressed, her father looked forward to revealing the rest of the treasures her mother had left behind, most importantly a well kept diary. But she never did grow out of that stuffed bunny, Freya. This was predicted however, he didn’t expect her to take such an interest in the ninja way. So when she approached him with the idea, claiming she wanted to at least learn to defend herself and the ones she loved, if she couldn’t fight alongside her father, he was definitely surprised. He tried many points to convince her otherwise, but failed. Eventually, he gave in, and taught her basic techniques, and the ninja way. He hoped that maybe if she realized how difficult it was, she would back down from the idea. However, he was completely and utterly wrong. She had no difficulties, at all, and instead, insisted he teach her more.

He made the assumption she must have had amazing chakra control, like her mother had, to be able to learn so quickly at such a young age, and actually started teaching her slightly more advanced techniques. Juggling teaching her, and forming his resistance group was beginning to become too much to handle. And so he suggested that she enroll in the academy, where she would learn the ninja way as a student of the village. However, Anju much rather preferred learning directly from her father, but couldn’t argue, knowing his busy life. She still refused, but the boys of the resistance group helped her learn. With their help, she already seemed to be mature in her mind set at such a young age, and accepted the fact her father was a leader, and had more important things to do than dance around her farfetched wishes. He was already providing her everything she needed to live, and more. It was her job to educate herself. It was at the early age of five that she started her days of training to become an innocent but deadly kunoichi, following the way of the ninja.

Only two years later, when the resistance group was at its strongest, village ninja broke into their home in hopes to take down their leader in cold blood. However, all they found was Anju. They took her prisoner in hopes of interrogating her, and finding her father, so that they may end the resistance at once. As her nature, she wouldn’t speak. No matter how furious their expressions, piercing their words, she didn’t utter a peep. It was then that they resorted to beating the information out of her, using the bluntest of weapons. Her eyes couldn’t keep from watering at the struck her several times, but she didn’t cry out, and she didn’t tell them anything. Despite this, they continued to thrash her, determined to get something from her. Her body was limp, and tattered. Bruises had already formed upon her fair skin, and areas that were repeatedly beaten had begun to bleed. She couldn’t deny that it hurt, and she knew the only way they would stop was if she gave them what they wanted. But even so, she refused. And in an act of defiance, and her remaining hope to get her point across, she bit down on her tongue, hard. Blood poured from the wound, as she choked on her own blood.

The men began to panic, but one that had been watching from afar was trained in medical ninjutsu. He was fidgety, but he didn’t budge from his position until the other men left the room in disappointment, leaving her to die. As soon as he was sure they were gone, he rushed to her aide. First, he stopped the bleeding. Then, he performed a small blood transfusion, giving her some of his own. She was unconscious now, from all the previous blood loss. He carried her limp body carefully, and fled for his safe house. Meanwhile, the resistance, led by Haru, attacked the base in which Anju had been held captive. If only they knew what they were walking into, and that she was in safe hands now.

Innocence

It was then that the man known as Cassius saved the little Anju’s life, and took her in as his own. As far as the village knew, Anju was dead, and so was the rest of the Deimos family. Cassius was an outcast, a cold man. The fact that he saved her pitiful life was completely out of his character, but he just couldn’t let her die in her own blood. She didn’t speak now, although her tongue made a full recovery. It was a miracle that she hadn’t died from blood loss that fateful night, and she could only believe that this world had greater plans for her. Despite her age and childishness, she continued to train herself in the ninja arts. For the first year or so, she would often cry as she trained, remembering her loss. She could only think that if she had been stronger, that maybe she could have not only protected herself, but her only family as well. It was too late to change the past, so she worked towards whatever future she had.

Cassius could see her determination to learn, and introduced her to Puppetry, being a master Puppeteer himself. To her surprise, she became quite fond of puppets. She modeled their faces after her parents, or what she could remember of them. As she grew up without them, she often found herself blocking out childhood memories in order to keep composed. However, she still carried her stuffed bunny, and read her mother’s diary from time to time. But she often found herself reading other material, such as the variety of books in Cassius’ private library. Whoever this man was, he was wealthy, and he didn’t seem to have any family either. He lived on the outskirts of town, away from all the violence and conflict. All she really knew was that this man saved her life, and the least she could do to repay him was keep him company.

Among the abundant books were many relating with biology, botany, and the study of poisonous plants. She often found herself reading those types of books, studying different effects of poison, and each way to cleanse the body of these poisons. It was important to her in the sense that it helped her increase the deadliness of simple projectile attacks, by dipping them in liquid poison. To test her finding, she had to experiment on animals, which she wasn’t exactly fond of doing. Due to her love for animals, she didn’t test anything she thought might kill them. Unfortunately, sometimes the poison would have just that effect. She would give them a proper burial, and refused to test any animals of the species any further. It was her way of showing respect to them, and after the third death, she stopped altogether.

After a few more years of studying within the safety of her newfound guardian’s home, he fell tremendously ill. Although Anju had studied a lot of biology, and even some anatomy, she couldn’t seem to figure out how to help him. He revealed to her that he had a disease in which his body slowly degraded from the inside, out. It was a long and painful death, but he had known about his disease for years. He knew it was his time to go, but he worried what would happen to Anju after he passed. So he explained to her that she could stay in his safe house as long as she wished, but she would have to wander in order to find food and clothing, as she grew. Anju understood well, but took care of him up until the day he died. A whole year passed as he was tortured to death, literally. And all that time, she sat by his bedside, and took care of him. It was her way of repaying him for having saved her life in the past, so she would stay with him until he passed.

When he did finally pass, it was quick. She only wished it had been that quick from the beginning, and he hadn’t suffered for so many long months. Anju dug him a grave, and left him flowers every month, for every month he suffered, and every month he took care of her. While she tidied up his room for the last time, she came across a journal, with a letter addressed to her on top. It was his final gift to her, and contain the story of his long life. She added to her pack, with her mother’s. Both were beautiful in their own way, each telling their own story. But it was her time to live, it was her time to write her own story, and she was determined to see what was beyond the four walls of her safe house. So she packed her own blank book, and headed out on her own journey at the mere age of eleven…

RP Sample:

Pattering heard outside the window, the clouded sun only shown some light through the curtains as Yumi opened them, but enough to wake Anju. With a warm smile on her face that should have been radiant enough to eliminate the darkness of her nightmares and the unwelcoming weather outside the four walls she chose to hide in, Yumi greeted Anju with a tray holding a breakfast that looked appetizing. She was reluctant, but could see Yumi's concern in her eyes, and sat up in her bed. Yumi lifted the tray and walked it to Anju's bedside, setting it on her lap. Anju pulled Freya out from under the covers, sitting her beside her as if she were a person. Yumi stopped and glanced over at the stuffed rabbit, her smile slowly disappearing as she observed the tattered toy that Anju seemed to love so much, but as she looked back at Anju, her smile returned as if it had never left her face in the first place.

Good morning Anju. I know you have been feeling ill lately, but you really should eat.” she said as she situated the tray so that Anju could eat with ease, “I am not sure what you can stomach right now, but I figured toast with peanut butter and jam wouldn't hurt. I poured you a glass of milk as well, just in case you go thirsty.” Her eyes were squinted from her pleasant expression as she spoke, but Anju just stared at her. After a few moments of awkward silence, Yumi rose from her bedside. “Right then. I will leave you to enjoy your meal, I hope you like it, and please do get well soon.” As she stood, she turned and walked toward the doorway. Before she could exit, Anju struggled to find the words to speak up to her, at least show her gratitude. “Y-Yumi-sama...” she muttered, bringing loving woman to a halt, “...Thank you.” Her expression was still blank and emotionless, but Yumi knew she meant it. The smile on her face grew as she responded to the young child's words. “You are very welcome.” With that said, she left the room, leaving Anju to her meal.

As soon as she was sure Yumi had returned to her housework, Anju grasped the toast, nibbling the ends and taking a few sips of milk after each successful bite. After finishing half, she turned to her stuffed bunny with the remaining piece, offering the food to the inanimate object. “
You sure you don't want any?” she said in a whispering voice. Freya just sat there, motionless as always. “Fine, more for me.” She finished her toast first, then helped it down with the last bit of milk. Anju set the tray on the end table, sure to bring an even wider smile to Yumi's face when she found it completely empty later. She wiped the moist crumbs from her mouth with her sleeve, looking to Freya, then the droplets of water on her window. At first, she just gazed off in thought as she watched each raindrop race down the surface of the glass, entranced by the soothing sound as each drop met the surface of the roof. It nearly lulled her back to sleep, but the sudden thump of Freya hitting the floor woke her from her dreaming. She stared at the light tan stuffed toy as it lay on the still floor, staring back at her with its beady eyes.

Anju shook her head, then brought her feet to the floor, kneeling down to retrieve her treasured childish item. She sat back down on the bed a moment as she held the memory filled play thing, reliving the life before Tozen had found her on the streets of Kirigakure no Sato. Despite the fact that she didn't remember her mother or father much, only the memories she'd rather forget, she missed them. She may not have known them, but she wish she had. Not a single tear fell from the innocent child's porcelain face, but her eyes said it all. Her eyes were not just deep blue, but filled with sorrow and emptiness. She was as dead as her parents, as lifeless as her doll. Anju pulled Freya close in her tiny arms, holding her to her chest. “
Someday I will be whole again, Freya. You'll see...you'll see...” her voice trembled as her broken heart ached, bringing an overwhelming pain to her body. She cringed, but stood, stumbling for the window. After a few moments staring at the blurred world beyond the glass, her hands pressed into the pane for support, she unlatched the inside lock and opened it. The misty air cooled her face, refreshing her youth. With Freya in hand, she climbed out her one story window.

In her sleeping gown and bare feet, she walked aimless through the rain. Before she knew it, she was surrounded by headstones, and an aura of death and despair. She took a deep breath of the heavy air, glancing around the graveyard. No matter how creepy this place seemed to most other children, or how many dead bodies lay to rest under her very feet, she found this place most peaceful. Maybe it was because no one she knew was buried below her, or the fact that no one really cared to visit these grounds due to the depressing atmosphere, or that everything was so silent and so clear, that even the most cluttered of people could organize their thoughts. Honestly, she didn't really know. What she did know was whatever had drawn her here, wasn't by mistake...

Only problem;

Your skills your C-ranked so your only allowed 1 Bullet, you have to train to get the others.

Other then that looks good.

Oh, and for you Occupation you get both bullets that aren't listed as "--- Need to be Master ---" therefore you do not have to actually list your occupation you can simply put the occupation you have. :3

I'm giving you permission for Wanderer b/c i know you will actually RP with it. Unlike others who just want to have the power.

I got confused on those matters, to be honest. I give you permission to edit my application accordingly, so that it gets done right. Lmao.

As for the Skills, I wasn't sure which one would be needed for being knowledgeable in the feild of Poisonous Plants and Animals, or the study of Poison in General. As stated in my History, my Character has been, and is currently studying Poison. So I chose feilds that I thought that Poison would fall into, not entirely sure as how it works here, or what feild you might think Poison falls into. So if I did it wrong again, if you could fix that for me, it would be much appreciated. I obviously confused myself by thinking too far into it, lol. ><;
