General Rules

- Everything on this Site must be PG-13 or MA-15. Things that are extremely sexual will be immediately deleted. This is against Forumotion Policy and our Policy.

- Sexual content will absolutely not be tolerated. Do not post nude pictures of yourself, or any porn for that matter. Members are not permitted to have cyber sex over Private Messaging (PM) here, nor are you permitted to RP sex with your character. If someone breaks these rules, as a member, you are allowed, and should, PM an Admin about the matter. It will immediately be dealt with.

- Do not spam. Multi-posting is a biggie. If you can fit all of the content you wish to post in one post, put it in one post. If the forum tells you the post is too large, then you are permitted to make another post. For any useless information you wish to post, please do so in the Spam section of the forum. It was created for the purpose of spamming, so spam to your heart's content, as long as it stays in that section.

- This is an English Forum. If you do not speak English properly we suggest finding a different site or finding a very good translator. We want no Posts in any language except english.

- Lastly, and most important, treat your fellow members with respect. As this community grows, members will likely grow to like each other, and sometimes dislike each other. Many RPG communities are like families, so don't be surprised if everyone here becomes very close. However, if you do not get along with another member, we ask that you respect everyone else, and do not make your opposition of that member public. There is no need for useless insults, arguments, etc. We encourage getting to know other members, but if you have a problem with a certain member, or members, it's not our problem. While you are here, you will have to learn to tolerate those you dislike, and put your personal issues aside. We want everyone to get along.

- Disrespecting a member, Administrator, or Moderator will definitely not be tolerated. If you post a comment, or send a disrespectful message to the members, or anyone on this site, you will either receive a warning, or be temporarily banned, depending on the offense. For example, making rude comments about the forum, making rumors about the members or staff of the site, stating the staff is doing a 'bad job' at maintaining the website, etc. The staff of this site have their own lives outside of this site, and cannot meet every single member’s needs.

Characters

- Your Character creation Post must have your Rank in it. Example:
Koyumo, Crim - Tsuchikage
Natarie Hibuken - Genin etc.

- Do not use Copies of another person's Character! if suspected you will be banned for 24 Hours! This is not taken Lightly. This also includes Jutsu and weapons that another character created!

- If you are not a Moderator, do not post on character applications, unless given permission to do so by an Admin. This keeps the approval system organized, and prevents further spam.

- You cannot use a Canon (Character from the Show) Character on this forum.

- You are not allowed to use Rasengan or Chidori. Period!

- No Bijuu! You are not allowed to use a Bijuu in your Character. Minor Demons may be allowed.

- No Sage [Senjutsu] Is permitted here.

- No Flying Thunder God Technique.

- No edo tensei

- You cannot start with Mangekyou Sharingan. You can gain through Role Play but you cannot start with it.

- Human Puppets are only allowed to A-Rank characters and up.

- You are not limited to a certain amount of Jutsu, however if the staff feels you have to many they can force you to remove some.

- You are limited to a certain amount of Puppets to your character, you can have more then this amount but you can only control this amount in battle:
Genin - 2
Chuunin - 3
Jounin - 4
S-rank - 5
Kage - 6

- Jutsu Limitations; Jutsu limitiations will be strictly followed by Age. for example an 18 year old jounin that just passed the jounin exams isn't going to have 50 + techniques. However a Kage who is 60 would have upwards of 150 techniques. These rules may bend depending on the player. And are open to be discussed. (History + Other things also come in effect)

- You cannot make a Jashin Character.

- You are allowed weapons and jutsu that are D-rank outside of your specialties, you will be limited to 5 picks however.
If you are S-ranked or Kage ranked, you are allowed C-rank and 10 picks.

- If you already have a character, your next character must be low ranked, and cannot be a Missing Ninja if you are a missing ninja. This may change depending on member flow but for now it is the rules.

- No Rinningan.

-Characters are not allowed to start with Customized Weapons. You can have customized puppets, but not weapons. (EX: A katana that becomes two with a poison tip)

Role Play

- Body Flicker Limitations per topic:
Genin: 1 Use
Chuunin: 2 Uses
Jounin: 3 Uses
S-rank/Kage: 4 Uses

-Kai Rules
If you have A Genjutsu specialty. You can easily tell when you are in a Genjutsu, and it takes a Kai level equal to the level of the genjutsu used on you.

If you do not have a genjutsu specialty, it is practically impossible to tell when you are in a Genjutsu. It takes 1 Rank higher Kai level to dispel the genjutsu.
i.e. A-Rank Genjutsu = S-rank Kai to dispel. You are only able to dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank.


- You are not permitted to Role-Play (RP) until your character application is approved by a Moderator or Admin. If, and when, your character application is approved, you may RP with other approved characters. It is highly suggested that you RP in third person, and type out all your actions.

- Death is common in the Ninja world. However killing blatantly and not following the regulations of your character, his or hers personality and randomly killing someone because you dont like them will have the consequence of the action exact opposite of yours. Meaning your character will die. Making up a half-assed excuse for killing a character will suffer the same consequences. The moderators and Administrators will decide whether or not your reason is legitamite.

- No Godmoding. For example, you cannot post that you are not affected by an attack that would clearly hit you, or kill you, for that matter. Another example is posting that you automatically land a hit, or kill on another's character. This is quite self-explanatory, but if you do godmod, your post will likely be deleted by a Moderator or Admin without further explanation. Do not argue with a Moderator or Admin, they have their given powers for a reason. However, if you do feel that a Moderator or Admin is abusing their powers, feel free to report it with hard evidence.

- No Metagaming. In other words, your character only knows what they have experienced in game, or what knowledge you have posted in your character application, such as their history and techniques. You are not permitted to alter your character's actions based on knowledge you have received from another player OOC. Your character cannot have knowledge of such things that do not yet exist in this RPG world. In other words, do not claim your character knows how to use a gun, when the RPG world has not yet come across the knowledge or creation of guns. I could go on, but I believe I have made my point. If you have any further questions about this rule, feel free to ask questions, and make suggestions.

- No Powerplaying. This is also known as controlling another player's character. You can suggest that the character does something by saying "The guards went to grab the Escapee Genin" but you cannot say, "The guards grabbed the genin." This is powerplaying and will not be tolerated. If you have questions or think someone is powerplaying, PM a staff member.

- We do not have a word count minimum when it comes to posting when RPing. However, we highly encourage that you post more than a single sentence. You will not be punished for low quantity posts, but don't be surprised if less people will respond to your topic, or post. If someone does make smaller posts than you do, that still does not give you the right to insult them, or make fun of them. This site was made for members to enjoy, and is intended to be a laid back community.

- When RPing your character, it is expected that you act accordingly to their personality. A character that is described as cold, and mean in their character application would not act kindly or something to the affect, unless stated otherwise in the application. On the subject, avoid contradicting yourself. Just keep in mind that your character must act as described in your application. If he or she doesn't, random occurances may happen to cause your character to get into trouble.

- You are not permitted to use any equipment, techniques, creatures, etc. not within your character's application. This falls under Godmoding, and Metagaming, and is against the rules. When equipment, techniques, creatures, etc. are approved by a Moderator or Admin, they will update your application accordingly. If they would happen to forget, feel free to remind them. However, do not bug them persistently about the manner, and do not bug another Moderator or Admin, just because you believe the Moderator or Admin you asked before wasn't moving quickly enough to your liking.

- Occurances can happen randomly in RP. A Chance Occurrence is started by a Moderator or Administrator. They will post in your topic something random, i.e. It starts raining. The Moderators and Administrators are not limited at all to what they can do with a Chance Occurrence, but normally do not have very big consequences, unless your character does something that would trigger a severe consequence. These can also be law-related occurrences, if you were to say steal an item from a shop, a Chance Occurrence could be that you were caught and now suffer jail time. So be careful! This is designed to give DEPTH to the Role play, so don't do something that would be considered wrong. Chance occurances can also be that your character messes up. Say your planting an exploding tag to explode a shaft. A chance occurance could be that the exploding tag does not break through the door.

Training + Travel

-As your character progresses you will may start learning techniques that are not on your application. Teaching yourself these techniques will take a training post. Training posts will allow you to use the jutsu. You will also have to wait a designated amount of time (REAL TIME) before you can use or fully "Learn" the Technique. If you post during the waiting time you will be rewarded in various ways. It is suggested that the amount of real time is RP time that your character uses to learn the technique. i.e. It may be several days if you wish, or just a couple of hours in RP. You may combine Training posts. But Hours cannot be added together. You must list in which order the jutsu you gain.

Example; You learn 2 c-ranked. you learn the first and can use it 18 hours from now. Then must wait another 18 Hours before using the second.

Jutsu must also be taught, You cannot simply train them by yourself. When in Naruto have you ever seen characters just "learn" jutsu. No! There is always someone to teach you. This increases member relation and partnerships in RP. Now don't fret, you can make your own jutsu. But like Kakashi and Naruto, you must be taught how to use it. Kakashi doesn't know how to use Rasengan but he taught Naruto how to use it. The Mentor of sorts should be 1 Rank higher then the character who is learning the jutsu. The Mentor does not have any specific word count per post. They simply have to teach the other char. (This will help you with word count anyway, responding to mentor + training = less training words.)

E-Ranked Jutsu - Training is 50 Words. Once trained you can use. No waiting.

D-Ranked Jutsu - Training is 150 Words. You must wait 6 Hours before Using this technique.

C-Ranked Jutsu - Training is 300 Words. You must wait 9 Hours before using a Technique.

B-Ranked Jutsu - Training is 500 Words. You must wait 12 Hours before Using a Technique.

A-Ranked Jutsu - Training is 750 Words. You must wait 18 Hours before using a technique.

S-ranked jutsu - Training is 1100 Words. You must wait 24 hours before Using a technique.

-Weapons are Different. There is no Training post required. But you must wait a designated amount of time just like jutsu. Weapon Training + Jutsu training hours can be combined. So you could learn 2 D-ranked Weapons and a D-rank Jutsu all at once. Training 2 weapons still is used in the same way as Jutsu however.

E-Ranked Weapon - No Wait.

D-Ranked Weapon - 3 Hours before use.

C-Ranked Weapon - 9 Hours Before Use

B-Ranked Weapon - 12 Hours Before use.

A-Ranked Weapon - 15 Hours before Use.

S-ranked Weapon - 18 Hours before use.

-As you move from one village or place to another. You must wait some time. This allows ANBU or whatever to catch an escapee, and also allows escapees to actually escape.

Moving from One Country to another is 500 Words. You must wait 12 Hours before you post in the different country.

-Members may also punish other members of the forum. If you think a member is acting out of hand in a post, there is a reputation button in the top right right hand corner of the post box that they posted in. One is a Plus '+' button and one is a '-' Button. A plus button has no purpose. Members may click it as much as they want but it won't do anything. A '-' Button will lower that users reputation. If a user's reputation lowers to below 30, you will be banned for 24 hours. Make friends not enemies. You are limited to 1 Reputation button a day. And we can monitor if your just randomly clicking a person's reputation button because you don't like them.

-You can view your standings with the moderators by watching your Warn Level. 5/5 is a GOOD thing. The less chances you have to mess up. If it reaches 0. You will be banned for 24 hours.

-After being Permantly banned you have the right to Appeal to the Staff. If you wish to Appeal to the Staff, get in contact with a member you trust and ask them to tell a Moderator or Administrator that you wish to be appealed. You will be unbanned for a short amount of time, and voted to see if you are worthy of staying. If you are, you will be allowed to stay, your first offense, no matter how minor will result in Permanent ban with no chance of Appeal. If you aren't. You may ask to be appealed later, but you must wait 2 months before asking to appeal again.
